Collages

I love to do collages. I find I work without a plan and it just seems to come together. The bottom collage with Frida is a self portrait. Everything depicted has a special meaning to me. For example, the parrot is my sun conure Pinot who really is the king of our house, thus the crown. The Create Art collage was done more recently and acts as a reminder to me to keep doing. I have been on a semi hiatus due to hand surgery on my dominant hand and although I have been working with my other hand it hasn't been the same. My fine motor skills are coming back slowly and I am looking forward to regaining my skills and being able to create much better art again in the future. We'll just have to see what develops.
